Our Mission

To create a competitive and cooperative team environment with applied engineering to solve real-world problems.

The Team
The RoboSaints team was founded in 2004 as an extracurricular activity involving grades 9-12. Our robots are designed and fabricated by students with guidance from teachers and parent mentors.

The team is composed of students that focus on Engineering, Computer Programming, and Business. Team members work together with their mentor who oversees productivity, progress, priorities and communication.

The Engineering Design team leader is in charge of electrical, mechanical, and Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) tasks. The Programming team leader is responsible for all robot control functions and pre-programmed control functions. The Business team leader is responsible for developing our business plan, strategy, and monitoring our budget.

The overall goal of the team is to provide students with opportunities to apply their academic training to solve real-life technical challenges.

FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)

FIRST is an organization based out of Manchester, New Hampshire that runs robotics competitions for students ages five to eighteen. FIRST prepares them for the future through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The FIRST Robotics competition season covers a league of high school students, consisting of a six-week build phase to accomplish conceptualization, design, fabrication, and testing of a maximum 120-pound robot. This robot must accomplish a series of competitive sport-like tasks for points and is operated autonomously through its internal programming and radio control.
