CAST (Community Association of St. Thomas) was born from the need to more effectively coordinate volunteer needs and facilitate many events throughout the year. The purpose of the CAST is very simple: to create a central place where volunteer needs and volunteer workers can be matched together.

An additional role of CAST is to encourage the communication from Parents-to School and from School-to-Parents. Throughout the year, CAST will host gatherings that are designed to foster open communication and a spirit of our broader community.

CAST is not an organization that you sign up for. As a parent, you are each a CAST member, and there are many ways to help.

Aquinas Fund - The Aquinas Fund (the school's annual fund) is the main source of fundraising at St. Thomas. Our school relies on the annual fund to balance the operating budget. St. Thomas does not receive funding from the Diocese. Participation in the Aquinas Fund by our entire school community is the key to our success.

Specifically, Parent and Alumni participation in this annual fund is critical to the success of the campaign. The Aquinas Fund Team meets throughout the year. Help us educate our community on the need and purpose of this annual appeal.

Events - Many hands are needed for events at St. Thomas Aquinas. Events can be both social and fundraising in design and give us the opportunity to celebrate together as a community. Joining an event committee (Golf, Fashion Show, Saints Taking Action), or helping with Faculty Appreciation activities are perfect ways to meet new people and support the school!

Support/Adminstrative Roles - Many hands are needed in support roles. Every year there are new ways to become involved. Not sure where you fit in? Just ask! We'll find the perfect place for you to help.
