Aquinas Fund

The Aquinas Fund (the school’s annual fund) is the main source of fundraising at St. Thomas Aquinas. Our school relies on the annual fund to balance the operating budget. St. Thomas Aquinas does not receive funding from the Diocese. Participation in the Aquinas Fund by our entire school community is the key to our success.

Legacy of Light Renaissance Campaign

The “Renaissance” signifies a refocus toward the campaign’s original plans and a continuation of St. Thomas Aquinas High School’s commitment to build upon past efforts to secure future successes.

Funds raised by the campaign will be directed toward improving several key areas:

  • Academic & Scholastic Excellence
  • Ministry & Mission
  • Athletics & the Arts
  • Campus & Property

Scholarships

The Michael Barr ‘07 Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Michael Patrick Barr, Jr. who died on January 1, 2022, from sudden cardiac arrest due to an unknown arrhythmia at the age of 33. A scholarship will be awarded to a well-rounded student athlete looking to experience all that St. Thomas Aquinas has to offer. Awarding of the Michael Barr Memorial Scholarship is contingent on certain financial criteria and a completed application, including a one-page essay. For more details, please click here. The deadline to apply is Monday, May 1, 2023.

The Chad W. Young ‘13 Scholarship was established to honor Chad William Young, a scholar and athlete member of the class of 2013, who passed away on April 28, 2017. A scholarship will be awarded based on merit, students enrolled and pursuing French as a second language, demonstrated achievement in sports, arts, or community service, as well as the completion of an essay. All SAINTS Day

On this special day, we celebrate all the saints of the Roman Catholic Church. This campaign is rooted in the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope, and Love. As a Catholic school, faith is the cornerstone of our existence, a perpetual reminder that Christ is the reason for our school. Our hope is that our All Saints’ Day Campaign makes an impact in our community and helps Lux in Tenebris shine even brighter in the world. And our love for St. Thomas Aquinas High School – for its students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families.
