Thank you for choosing St. Thomas Aquinas High School! Every day at St. Thomas Aquinas is a busy one - at any given time, there could be dozens of activities going on. We hope this page will help familiarize and organize you and your student for what we hope will be an amazing four-year journey. Be patient and allow yourself some time to get acclimated!
Over the course of the summer, you will begin to see information posted to this page. Check back often!
Classes begin for ALL students on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
Each year, St. Thomas Aquinas High School prints a calendar for each of our families. These calendars are available to pick up in the Main Office as well as the Advancement/Admissions Office in Notre Dame Hall. Copies will be also be available at the JumpStart Parent Coffee.
Class of 2022 New Parent Summer Gatherings
Each summer, current parents open their homes to our new parents welcoming them into the STA community. They host informal 'neighborhood' gatherings throughout the Seacoast area aimed at providing new parents with the opportunity to get to know one another, ask questions and share in the excitement of this new journey. We have found these casual get-togethers to be beneficial in so many ways to our incoming, transfer and host families. We hope you plan to attend one!
New Family Gatherings: STA Parent Ambassadors invite you to join them at their homes for an opportunity to meet other new parents. These gatherings are optional, casual and hopefully convenient for you. They provide an opportunity to ask questions of parents who have already lived through the freshman student experience.
If you’d like to attend a gathering, please respond to the host directly with an RSVP and to obtain their address.

Class of 2022 - Jumpstart Retreat and Parent Coffee
Monday, August 27, 2018, 8am
Jumpstart Retreat - Freshmen will be welcomed and guided through a day of activities that will acquaint them with the school, our mission, and some upper classmen. Lunch (pizza) will be provided. This is a dress-down day: modest, casual attire.
Jumpstart Parent Coffee and Orientation While your son or daughter receives their special welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas, parents are invited to socialize with coffee by the Notre Dame building from 8-9:30am. Following the coffee, we will host a New Parent Orientation in the main building’s Media Center. This is an opportunity for us to provide you with a brief overview of pertinent information and also allow you a chance to ask questions.
Matters related to student parking are handled by the Associate Principal and the Attendance Office. The 2018-19 Parking Pass and Guidelines are available to download through Plus Portal.
Welcome to another school year! Our goal is to promote a safe, efficient method of dropping off and picking up your student(s). Therefore, we would like to make you aware of our student drop-off and pick-up procedures.
MORNING: When arriving to school in the morning, please proceed to the back of the building and keep right to utilize the two lanes by the flag pole. Both lanes can be used for drop-off. This will help in reducing a traffic backup. Please do not stop in front of the school or near the fountain to drop your student(s) off.
PICK UP PROCEDURE
AFTERNOON: When arriving to school to pick-up your student(s) at dismissal time, please DO NOT use the two lanes by the flag pole (marked by the red x’s). Instead, please turn left, as indicated by the arrows, and park in any of the open spaces in the parking lot to wait for your student(s). We have found this to be the most efficient method without causing a traffic back up to Dover Point Road.
