Shannon Caron, Associate Principal – Shannon grew up in Connecticut and graduated from the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!) with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and a minor is Sociology. She also holds master’s degree in School Counseling is from Central Connecticut State University Shannon lives in Barrington with her husband, AJ, and two children, Samantha (8) and Daniel (5).
Susan Carroll, Attendance, Administrative Assistant to Assoc. Prin. – Susan grew up in Portsmouth and currently lives in Newington with her husband Jim of 24 years. She has two children, Elizabeth who is a senior at Dartmouth College and Eddie who is a Junior at the US Coast Guard Academy. Susan previously worked at the Dover Middle School for the past 7 years in the Dean’s office.
Hettie Haudenschield, Fine & Digital Arts Teacher – Hettie looks forward to developing an innovative art and technology program this year. She is originally from Seattle, WA. She holds a BFA from Tufts University in Studio Art, and an MFA from The University of New Orleans on a Board of Regents Fellowship. She lives in Durham with her family and likes to create, talk, and study art, garden, read, swim, travel, and forage for wild mushrooms.
Michael Slavin, Math Teacher – Mike, a parishioner at St. Thomas More in Durham, earned his B.S. in Math at Manhattan College. After 16 years as an application programmer at IBM, he taught math and computer science beginning in 1997, and the last 14 years at Pembroke Academy Mike lives in Durham with his wife Maura, and his four girls are all out of the house now, making it (he says) eerily quiet!
Kim Keeler, Math Teacher – Kim has been in education for over 15 years. Having worked at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a math teacher, she is looking forward to continuing her high school teaching career with STA. Don’t be surprised if you hear a little singing coming out of her room as she tends to incorporate any tools necessary to keep the students engaged!
Emma Wilson, Associate Director of Admissions – Previously, Emma worked in the Guidance Department at Oyster River High School and most recently at Southern New Hampshire University as an Academic Advisor. Emma is excited to work closely with Seacoast Catholic schools to strengthen our partnerships while also building stronger relationships with public, homeschool, private, and Christian school students.
Patrick Hureau, Social Studies Teacher - We have the very good fortune of having Patrick rejoin our Social Studies faculty this year. Welcome back, Patrick!
