Navigating a New Journey

New student carrying bag
Michaela Bosco '22 starts her new journey.

Looking fresh and polished in their dress code attire, the Class of 2022 moved into their new home today. Faculty and staff greeted them with classic STA hospitality as upperclassmen accompanied their new Saint-Siblings through potentially tricky challenges such as locker combinations and schedule assignments. Despite the humidity and understandable apprehension, smiles seemed the unmistakable accessory adorning this special class.

The first few days and weeks of any new journey can feel overwhelming.  The comforting thing to new, transferring, and returning St. Thomas Aquinas High School students is the unmistakable (and authentic) feeling that this is not just a school, but a home.  Through affirmation, confirmation, and the laying of a solid foundation, Saints are led to the guaranteed promise embraced by its Catholic mission: transformation.

Over the next four years, St. Thomas Aquinas High School freshmen will be challenged, supported and transformed into young adults of virtuous character and admirable fortitude. Theirs is a journey laden with outstanding academics, diversified opportunities, and veritable friendships. They will be summoned to not only identify their gifts and strengths but to effectuate them so as to illuminate the world by their distinct light.

Go forth, Class of 2022, knowing you are wholly cherished as individuals and genuinely treasured as a collective light.

Welcome Home.
