June 19, 2008Three STA students did incredibly well on the NH State Latin Exam. The annual exam is given in many levels of Latin, and while many of our students did very well, three of our student excelled. Kim Monaco won first place in the entire state in Latin Poetry, which covers material from Latin IV, and which Mrs. Warren describes as "A VERY, VERY Challenging exam!" For Latin II, STA was well represented on the winners podium. Collin Garcia won first place and Allison Dennett came in second! For their efforts, the scholars receive a silver engraved bowl and the right to brag in Latin. The STA community extends these students a warm congratulations for a job very well done!
