Kathryn Burns joins the St. Thomas science department for 2008-09, bringing her knowledge and experience in Geology, Ocean Studies, and Earth Systems Science to St. Thomas. A graduate of the Cornell University College of Engineering, with a B.S. degree in Earth Systems and coursework in Chemistry and Physics, Ms. Burns brings research experience in Underwater Ecological Surveying, Climate, and Marine Biology. Ms. Burns is an experienced science educator, having directed marine science programs for students from 3rd through 12th grade.
